Armchair Adventures
Since September 2021 I have been freelancing for Made by Mortals, supporting the marketing of season two of their podcast Armchair Adventures.
The award-winning podcast Armchair Adventures is an imaginative theatre podcast for kids following the adventures of Connie and her gang. Each episode is inspired by people’s experiences and issues going on in the world. The podcast is expressed through drama, music, movement, and song. You can listen to the podcast here!
My work for Armchair Adventures includes; transcripting the episodes, making audiograms, creating pull quotes, making social media assets, researching, and sending email marketing.
Before the release of season two, I created social media graphics for the podcast promoting the release of season two through social media countdown graphics and audiograms teasing what you can expect from the season.

Season Two Episode One social assets
I started assisting Made by Mortals with their podcast by creating pull quotes and audiograms for episode one of season two. This episode was titled ‘A Unity Adventure’, focused on racism and treating people equally. I worked on the content for this episode in September ready for the release in October. This episode focused on making people aware of racial equality and is in support of Black History Month.

Season Two Episode Two work
For episode two I was creating pull quotes and audiograms but also did some research for the podcast. This episode was titled ‘An Underwater Adventure’ and was focused on saving and protecting the ocean.
A snippet teasing episode two here.
Season Two Episode Three work
For episode three I created pull quotes for the Made by Mortals social media platforms to entice people to listen to the episode. This episode is ‘A Compost Adventure’ and teaches people about how little changes like recycling and composting can make a big difference.
Recycle Challenge Social Media Assets
In December, I created graphics to support their daily #RecycleChallenge which they ran on their social media channels to support the podcast episode.
